Job fair: search for employers and employees (together with HeadHunter)

A specialized “Job Fair” exhibition stand, devoted to the industry-specific personnel policy issues, will be presented at the InfoCom-2007 exhibition. Every visitor of this stand will be able to find a job, to get advice on writing a resume, to check his level of skills or to make himself known as professionals at the "Golden Fund of the Industry" contest. The job fair will work on the basis of the consolidated industry-specific vacancy database, comprising job offers from the RF Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications and entities in charge, as well as other participants of the exhibition – companies, functioning on the IT and communications market. Everything on Linux at InfoCom

Master-classes on working with Linux and open code software products, and Perl programming will be held within the frames of the InfoLinux exposition, held from 24th to the 27th of October. (Organizer: Linuxcenter) InfoLinux is a specialized exposition on the Linux operating system: beginners will be able to find out, what it is, and to “touch it with their own hands” (during the hours of self-study and at different master-classes, where they will be able to learn how to perform simplest user tasks while working with this operating system), advanced users – to see new technologies in use, experts – to share experience and to demonstrate their level of skills. Master-classes and workshops cover both general IT-tasks (workflow standards and formats, office applications, business applications, information security, use of Linux in the public and educational institutions, graphic packages and working in the Internet) and specific issues (migration with Microsoft Windows while working with Linux and working in heterogeneous networks). We are happy to announce the launch of the new interactive version of InfoCom website. From now on, the site will offer something interesting every day: publication of current information, internet actions, new services, and all kinds of theme games. Having registered (in Russian version of site), you get access to these services, and also can print out free-of-charge invitations to an exhibition, file an application for participation in seminars, and also take part in various (different) competitions, lotteries from organizers and exhibitors. Krasnodar Territory is the InfoCom 2007 partner region

Based on the successful experience of major international exhibitions, the InfoCom organizing committee decided to select one of Russia’s regions as a “partner region”. This year, Krasnodar Territory has been awarded the status of partner region. It is a promising region that is attractive for investments and an active participant in major world exhibitions. In the summer of 2007, all eyes were on it as a result of Sochi’s winning the right to hold the 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games. More details
